The privately-owned photography magazine Record was started in 1972, in the search for ‘a minimalist medium to immediately burn the images taken in everyday life and hand them to the people nearby’. The magazine temporarily ceased publication with its fifth issue the following year, but was revived in 2006 and continues to be published today.
