The 90th anniversary of the founding of the Nihon Bijutsu-in was celebrated at Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, from June 6 to 18, 2012. The exhibition included representative works by 85 artists, from Masakuni Hashimoto and other regular members of the NBE in the early period to the current members of the restored NBE.
